Dwarves, Dwarfs and Barbegazi

There are three kinds of dwarves:

Dwarfs: Dwarfs are classic, Lord of the Rings Type dwarfs. They live underground, in mines, which are almost like little villages. Each mine has a king, a guard force, and the general rabble a human city would have. Dwarf mines do not interact and it's literally every mine for themselves.

Dwarves: Unlike the Dwarfs, Dwarves live in one kingdom. Although exactly the same as Dwarfs, it is their way of life that makes them different. They follow a king, they have an army, and they have the general rabble that human empires have.

Barbegazis: Like the Dwarfs, they live in small mines, but unlike them, there is only one Barbegazi mine. They also like to live on the surface of their mine, which is Tundra. These Ice dwarfs enjoy mining, but not smithing, so they trade ore with the Uldras who live in the Ice caves below them. Barbegazis love to ski and will happily show adventurers how to if they are polite.

All of the above Dwarf kinds, speak Dwarvish. Dwarvish is comprised of Gutteral sounds more than anything else.

Dwarfs and Dwarves tend to wear thick clothes resembling human clothes, only much smaller. Barbegazis wear white coats. Dwarven armour is very stone-like, and is infact sometimes made from stone. Barbegazis wear Uldra armour, only for their size.

Obviously. That's why they are such good skiers. Humans need skis and Barbegazi are very good at crafting skis.
