The Great Plague

You start by talking to the doctor in a city. He tells you that he is in need of help finding a cure for a mysterious plague which has swept the city. Until the quest is completed, the city will be sick, even before the quest is started, therefore it will be a minor town. You offer help and he tells you to visit the old man in the village and take a blood sample. He gives you a needle and tells you how to use it. He also gives you surgical gloves and cotton wool. When you reach the old man and convince him to give you a blood sample. Use the needle on him, which can only be done with the surgical gloves on, then use the cotton wool on him. You end up with a ill blood needle which you must take back to the doctor. He takes the needle and replaces it with a new needle, set of gloves and cotton wool. He then asks you to get a blood sample from the only person not sick, a young man named Bill Smith. You find Bill, who refuses to take the blood test. You finally convince him by giving him 1000 GP. You take the blood the same way as the old man, then return to the doctor. The doctor takes the sample and tells you he will look at it. Talk to him a while later and he'll tell you he found the way to cure the plague. He tells you that he needs you to get him Holy water and some mint leaves. You fetch him the ingrediants he mixes them into a cauldron. He gives you some viles which you can fill with the mixture in the cauldron. Fill them and take them to every sick citizen in the town, who get better when you give them the potion. Keep refilling and giving to the sick until there are no more sick people. Return to the doctor, who thanks you for the help.

How does he examine it.

Does he use an advanced microscope or does he use a filter system.

..Maybe a kids maginifying glass off the back (stolen from some poor kid +3 EVIL)

I have no idea, he probably used some sort of Magykal Examination Techniques
